Mercedes-Benz is a car brand that is associated with luxury, quality and reliability. Over its history, the company has produced many legendary models that have become symbols of the automotive industry. Here are some of them:
- Mercedes-Benz SSK is a sports car released in 1928. It won many competitions and set new speed records.
- Mercedes-Benz W125 Rekordwagen — a futuristic car designed to set speed records. In 1938, German racer Rudolf Caracciola set a speed record on the motorway — 432.7 km/h.
- Mercedes-Benz 300 SL "Gullwing" is a legendary car produced from 1955 to 1963. It was equipped with a 215 hp engine and had a top speed of 224 km/h.
- Mercedes-Benz W100 600 — a luxury limousine that could compete with Bentley, Cadillac and Rolls-Royce cars. It was equipped with a 250 horsepower engine and reached speeds of up to 120 km/h.
- Mercedes-Benz W116 S-Class — an ancestor of the S-Class, a series of sedans produced from 1972 to 1980. Cars in this series featured innovative independent suspension, disc brakes and an emphasis on safety.
